My Background
Creating things has been a part of who I am for as long as I can remember. From sketching to sewing to crafting with my kids, making things for myself and others has brought me a lifetime of joy. For the past few years I have discovered a love for painting birds on recycled wood and creating designs to make pendants from metal washers.

I use acrylic paint for both my pendants and wood paintings. Pendants are made of metal washers and my paintings are mostly done on recycled wood from projects completed by my woodworker husband. Fir and cedar are my favorites.

My Inspiration
I find inspiration from the world around me. Whether it be in nature or man made, my pendant designs are inspired by color and patterns that catch my eye and give me that “I‘ve got to capture that” feeling.
As for my bird paintings, it is either the grain of a piece of wood that leads me to the perfect bird for it or vice versa. I love the way wood grain gives depth and interest to these pieces.
